At The Lab House, we believe early childhood is a time for curiosity, discovery, and meaningful connections.
We are a bilingual early learning space in West Kendall, Florida, created for children ages 3–6. Through intentional play, hands-on experiences, and creative exploration, we help children build strong foundations for lifelong learning.
Inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Conscious Discipline approaches, our small-group environment allows each child to be supported, encouraged, and valued.
Welcome to a place where curious minds grow. ✨
At The Lab House, our program is designed for children ages 3–6, creating a nurturing environment where learning grows through curiosity, exploration, and meaningful experiences.
Our small-group model includes two teachers who support children according to their age, developmental stage, and individual learning needs. This allows us to provide more personalized guidance, stronger connections, and intentional learning experiences throughout the day.
Through hands-on projects, bilingual learning, early literacy, creative exploration, and play-based experiences, children develop confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation for future learning.
Every child is encouraged to discover, create, ask questions, and grow at their own pace.
We believe children learn best when they can explore, ask questions, create, and discover. Our environment encourages independence, creativity, and hands-on learning through meaningful experiences.
We build early academic foundations through language development, phonological awareness, early reading skills, problem-solving, number sense, and hands-on activities that make learning engaging and meaningful.
We support children in developing self-awareness, emotional skills, independence, and positive relationships through respectful guidance and intentional connection.
At The Lab House, enrollment is intentionally limited to create a small-group learning environment where every child receives personalized attention, meaningful connections, and intentional support.

Claudia Alfonso is passionate about early childhood education and child development.
Her journey in education began when she became a mother and started exploring the importance of understanding human development through the way children learn, grow, and build their foundations. This personal experience inspired her to continue studying child development and create meaningful learning environments for young children.
With experience as an educator, Lead Teacher working with first and second grade students, and as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting young children, Claudia has developed a deep understanding of how important it is to recognize each child’s individual needs and learning process.
She believes children learn best when they can explore, create, and express themselves. Art, play, and hands-on experiences are powerful tools that help children develop creativity, problem-solving skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
At The Lab House, she believes that small groups, intentional observation, and personalized support allow educators to truly connect with each child and guide their growth with confidence, curiosity, and care.
